Register for payroll tax
If you or the company you represent has wages that exceed the payroll tax threshold, you will need to register for payroll tax.
You need to lodge your payroll tax annual reconciliation and if required, make payment by 21 July 2016.
The monthly calculator assists you to work out your monthly tax payable. You do not have to submit this calculation.
Payroll tax online
If you are registered for payroll tax, you can use Payroll tax online to:
- lodge your nil return
- change your details, including grouping and banking
- register for online payment
- cancel your registration and direct debit payments
- view your payment history, return history summary, payment options and payment codes.
You can log in using your AUSkey, which is a secure login that identifies you when you use participating government online services on behalf of a business. We do not permit intermediaries to use AUSkey to log in on behalf of clients.
